Around The World

June 2015 - May 2016 was when I spent the most incredible year away travelling around the world with my partner and our 2 boys.

Sharing and exploring, from the Empire State to the Taj Mahal. We have travelled overland through South America from Rio to Lima via the stunning Iguazu Falls and sandboarded in the Atacama desert, Chile. From Cuzco, we ventured into the far reaches of the Peruvian Andes. We swam in the Canadian Great lakes, camped out with Yosemite’s coyotes and bears and hugged the Giant Redwoods of California . Minds were blown by the art and dust of Burning Man. We took planes, trains, automobiles, (and lots of boats) through steamy South East Asia from Beijing to Singapore via the chic energy of Hong Kong, the spicy street food of Vietnam, the awe of Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, the picture-perfect white-sand beaches of Thailand and the Muslim sensibilities of Malaysia. We were seduced by Sri Lanka from the previously war-torn North to the beautiful, relaxed South. We immersed ourselves in India, meandering (mainly by train) up from the sizzling south, via frenzied festivals and blissed-out beaches, to the cool hill stations of the north at the foothills of the Himalayas. Dubai’s hot sands and shopping malls turned out to be our last stop, and from there we returned to England’s green and pleasant land.

It has been an amazing, exciting and humbling experience and one I can really recommend to anyone who has the chance to do the same.
